This is why the military and everyone else should not respect Jane Fonda. As a side note, Henry Fonda and James Stewart were best of friends and so were their families. James Stewart’s son was killed in Vietnam and after Jane’s visit the families never spoke to each other again. This is why her name is never spoken in my home.

Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the ’100 Women of the Century.’

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot’s name is Jerry Driscoll, “a River Rat”.

In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison the ‘ Hanoi Hilton.’

Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ’s, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American ‘Peace Activist’ the ‘lenient and humane treatment’ he’d received.

He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward on to the camp Commandant ‘s feet, which sent that officer berserk.

In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying career) from the Commandant’s frenzied application of a wooden baton.

From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E’s). He spent 6 years in the ‘Hanoi Hilton’,,, the first three of which his family only knew he was ‘missing in action’. His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and clothed routine in preparation for a ‘peace delegation’ visit.

They, however,had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they were alive and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security Number on it , in the palm of his hand.

When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man’s hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: ‘Aren’t you sorry you bombed babies?’ and ‘Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?’ Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper.

She took them all without missing a beat.. At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper..

Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development advisor in Vietnam , and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.

I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one year in a cage in Cambodia ; and one year in a ‘black box’ in Hanoi My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot , South Vietnam , whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs)

We were Jane Fonda’s ‘war criminals….’
When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi , I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with her..

I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received… and how different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as ‘humane and lenient.’

Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched with a large steel weights placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane.

I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She never did answer me.

These first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of ’100 Years of Great Women.’ Lest we forget….’ 100 Years of Great Women’ should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots.

There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane’s participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can.. It will eventually end up on her computer and she needs to know that we will never forget.

Hawaii Senator Questions Obama’s True Birth Father

The lone Republican in the Hawaii State Senate told a radio interviewer today he believes “the real issue” stopping Barack Obama from releasing his long-form birthcertificateis something the president has to hide, perhaps even the name of his actual birth father.

Hawaii State Sen. Sam Slom further told the host of ”Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on WABC 770 AM in New York City that so long as Obama refuses to be transparent about his past, questions about the president’s birth remain “a legitimate issue.”

“My particular point of view – and why I haven’t identified myself as a ‘birther,’ per se – is that [Obama] probably was born [in Hawaii] and that the real issue is not the birthcertificate, but what’s on the birthcertificate,” Slom told Klein.

Asked what that could be, Slom said, “It could have to do with what his name is on the birth certificate, who is actually listed as his father, the citizenship of the father.”

He continued, “My belief is that there is a birthcertificate, he was born here, but that there is information that for reasons known only to him he doesn’t want released. If it were just the birth certificate, that would be one thing, but it’s his school records, it’s employment records. … Why would anybody, let alone the president of the United States, spend millions of dollars in legal fees to keep that hidden?”

Donald Trump has been churning up the 2012 presidential race with his many questions about Barack Obama’s eligibility, and now a book, “Where’s the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President,” by two-time No. 1 New York Times best-selling author Jerome Corsi, is creating more waves.

Today it was headlined on the Drudge Report, which declared, “The street date is a LONG month away, and author Jerome Corsi, the man who torpedoed John Kerry’s presidential dreams with SWIFT BOAT, has gone underground and is holding his new findings thisclose.

“‘It’s utterly devastating,’ reveals a source close to the publisher. ‘Obama may learn things he didn’t even know about himself!’” Drudge said.

Drudge wondered whether the president’s attorneys will “attempt to interfere with the book’s distribution?” and whether the book will “finally – once and for all – put an end to the growing controversy?”

The image of the book was seen on Rush Limbaugh’s personal computer today as he broadcast his top-rated radio program from his Florida studio.

Between now and May 17, when the book officially debuts, video ad spots are promoting “Where’s the Birth Certificate?”

More Proof the Budget Deal Was a Scam

Nearly a week after the budget deal in Congress was approved, Americans and analysts are still reeling over the proximity of a government shutdown, and even worse, the fraudulent nature of the supposed “savings” found in the deal.

Conservative pundit Mark Levin called the budget deal a “historic scam,” while Joe Weisenthal of Business Insider went a step further, dubbing it a “gigantic fraud.”

Weisenthal, who analyzed the figures found in the deal, outlined by the National Journal via the Congressional Budget Office, determined that the total savings are nowhere near the touted $38 billion. In fact, the National Journal indicates that the only way that figure can be reached is through gimmicks, and that the savings are closer to $350 million.

National Journal explains:

A comparison prepared by the CBO shows that the omnibus spending bill, advertised as containing some $38.5 billion in cuts, will only reduce federal outlays by $352 million below 2010 spending rates. The nonpartisan budget agency also projects that total outlays are actually some $3.3 billion more than in 2010, if emergency spending is included in the total.

The astonishing result, according to the CBO, is the result of several factors: increases in spending, especially at the Defense Department; decisions to draw over half of the savings from recissions; and cuts to reserve funds and and money for mandatory-spending programs that might never have been spent.
